Will this slow down my store?
No. Markdown twins are served by Shopify's CDN from theme assets. Our backend isn't in the read path. If our servers go down, your AI-readability still works.
Does this replace SEO?
No — it complements it. Googlebot and Bingbot search rules stay completely untouched. We only manage AI-specific user-agents (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, etc.).
What about my custom theme?
shopifyagentspace uses theme assets + Shopify Pages + URL Redirects — all standard Shopify primitives. Works with Dawn, Sense, Origin, and every custom theme we've tested.
Can I customize what agents see?
Yes. Per-resource overrides via Shopify metafields, three preset modes (Rich / Terse / Privacy), per-vendor permissions, per-locale taglines, pinned featured products, and an exclude_from_index toggle on any product.
When does it launch?
Private beta now. Open beta as soon as Shopify grants us the theme-files exemption (in progress). Public launch on the App Store: Q3 2026.
